Performance RULES
Team
- A team can consist from 3-7 jumpers.
- There are 2 age categories.
- Junior category: All jumpers are under the age of 19 on the day of DDCB.
- Senior category: At least 1 jumper is above the age of 19 on the day of the DDCB.
Duration
- Junior (-19) category performance duration: min 1:30, max 2:00
- Senior (+19) category performance duration: min 2:00, max 2:30
Stage
- The size of the stage is 10m x 10m. The height is 8m.
- Rehearsals (stage testing) will be held during the day. Make sure to check the schedule.
- Please be on time for stand-by zones, check the schedule regularly!
- If you’re planning to use props, make sure to let us know. It needs to be checked and approved before use.
- Let us know in advance if you start off stage.
- Raise your hand to the DJ when the performance music can start.
- Offensive behaviour on stage can result in point deduction.
Music
- Use of music is mandatory.
- Offensive language in the music can result in point deduction.
- Send your music to info@ddcb.be before the deadline.
- Bring your music on USB stick as a back-up.
Prize Money
- The 1st place of performance in the senior category will receive €500 prize money.
Selection DDCB
- If registrations exceed 25 teams (max. 10 in Junior Category and max. 15 in Senior Category), a selection can be held in the afternoon. Audience will be allowed at the selection if this is the case.
Selection for DDC Europe or DDC World
- The top 3 Belgian teams will be selected for the European or World Championships.
- If a selected team of the top 3 is not able to go, the next Belgian team in ranking will be selected (note: the replacement teams has to be in the top 5 Belgians teams). The 6th Belgian team cannot be selected as replacement.
- Individual jumper(s) replacement in a team is also allowed, but at least 50% of the team has to be the original jumpers. The original selected performance choreography main structure should stay the same.
- Keep in mind that the registration fee, rules or structure can differ at other DDC’s (for example: some DDC’s hold battles in finals, music royalty fees,…). So make sure you inform well before your registration.
- DDC Europe 2026 is planning to take place in Norway in end July/ begin August (not yet determined).

Speed RULES
Team
- 2 turners, 1 jumper
- There are 2 age categories.
- Junior category: All jumpers are under the age of 19 on the day of DDCB.
- Senior category: At least 1 jumper is above the age of 19 on the day of the DDCB.
Duration
- 1x 30 sec DD speed
Stage
- 2 (or 3) teams will jump on stage at the same time
- The judges will show your position marks on the stage. Please respect these marks during the speed test.
- Be careful not to disturb the other team on stage (f.e. touching or shouting). This can also lead to deduction or even disqualification.
Practical
- Right foot will be counted
- Cotton (cloth), beaded and plastic ropes are allowed (try to stay under 4 metres length)
- 1 coach can go on stage to assist the team. The judges will show the position mark.
- If your team made a false start, that means moving the ropes before or during the “GO” will lead to a point deduction.
- In case of a tie in the top 3, there will be a speed battle before the awards. The same speed test will be performed (1x 30s).
